Catherine Ahn

Catherine Ahn has served on the Circle of Purple Moon for approximately a decade, having first been introduced to the unique organization while conducting a business analysis of its structure, mission, and employees. She attended the University of California, Berkeley, serving the Associated Students' as a Senator, Academic Vice President, and later as a Vice President of the graduate student government. Her on-campus work involved revisions to the UC systems' approach towards admissions and retention for students and faculty, protecting the campus from threats to academic freedom posed by post-9/11 legislation while remaining compliant, as well as obtaining Berkeley degrees in business, political science, law, and a Masters in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. She currently works in Washington, D.C. where she competes with the British on complaints about the weather and, every year or so, a triathlon.
